Antiferromagnetic spatial photonic Ising machine through optoelectronic correlation computing

Abstract Recently, spatial photonic Ising machines (SPIM) have been demonstrated to compute the minima of Hamiltonians for large-scale spin systems. Here we propose implement an antiferromagnetic model through optoelectronic correlation computing with SPIM. Also exploit gauge transformation which enables encoding spins and interaction strengths in a single phase-only light modulator. With simple setup, experimentally show ground-state-search acceleration 40000 number-partitioning problem. Thus such exhibits great programmability scalability practical applications studying statistical systems combinatorial optimization problems.
